Cushions

Using the ancient technique of hand embroidery Hayate created these examples of luxurious cushions. It is a collaboration of two artists in two different ateliers: Claudia Spielmann (Germany) and Anjana Das (India and the Philippines). On hand-woven linen real silver sequins are placed and styled just like an artist paints a painting.

The design is focused on the contrast of light and dark / matt and shiny. A small team of master embroiders of White Champa unit in New Delhi realized this unique work of art.
